Chapter Eight - Land Acknowledgement

Resource added

Full description

Land Acknowledgement: I would like to acknowledge that work began on this chapter while I lived on the Treaty and Traditional Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, The Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and The Huron-Wendat and Wyandot Nations, but I had the freedom and ability to finish this chapter while living and working on the unceded territory of the Anishinabe Algonquin Nation people. As a Palestinian-Canadian, I am always cognizant of the present-day ramifications of colonial histories, the need for self-determination for Indigenous Peoples in Canada and elsewhere, and the work required to end occupations from Turtle Island to Palestine.
