Resource added
An acrylic painting depicting the arrival of European colonizers, with institutions of slavery and religion, to North America, clawing from a tumultuous sea onto land inhabited by Indigenous peoples. The artist’s alter ego, Miss Chief Eagle Testickle, stares directly forward while reaching their right arm down to help a shackled Black man from the sea.
