Coda: “Eighteenth-Century Longing”

Abstract: This coda considers the multiple valances of "longing" set in play by this collection of essays. Through a reading of Adorno and Bloch's discussion of utopian longing in "Something's Missing," the coda frames our commitment to queer horizons as a practice of longing that is at once queer, utopian, and anti-colonial.
